All I could see was red at this moment. I could feel my blood boiling in pure rage and I felt like smashing something or someone. If I caught the person who dared to cross me and that would be his/her last day on the earth.

I don't give a damn about my that stupid Tara or my father's reputation but all I care about is my reputation which literally got tarnished in today's news headlines.

Now what am I going to answer from my business acquaintance and also Mr.Baloch.

Mr.Baloch is a very important client of mine in my cybersecurity company and I had just signed a new deal with his company and out of nowhere these rumors. What if Mr.Baloch cancel the deal due to this sudden havoc. Err... I hate it and I hate that woman.

I was thinking this when my room door opened and there she walked in with no care. Our gaze locked momentarily but it broke as fast as it locked because she chose to ignore my presence and walked away to the closet.

I was still in my office attire and I'm in no mood to have dinner so I skipped my dinner but however my curiosity peaked at what she prepared for her pehli rasoi when she said she had prepared something.

I came out of my thoughts when I saw her coming out of the bathroom freshen up and changed into her night black satin pyjamas. She didn't bother to look at me nor say anything and quickly took the left side of the bed which is near the opened window.

What the hell! Who does she think she is, and who gave her the right to sleep on my bed? Here I am losing my mind about the sudden rumors spreading and losing the deal but she with no care in the world is preparing to have a beauty sleep. Never, never let it happen Rudra.

I quickly walked towards her side of bed and said out loudly

"Oh, hello excuse me"

She looked at me blankly and said

"You're excused"

This woman. Dammit…here I'm trying to have a serious conversation and her...errghh

"This is my bed" I said nonchalantly

She looked at me and raised one of her eyebrows in questioning manner and asked

"So?"

I mentally cursed myself for needing to do so much explaining to her when I can simply throw her out but since my previous acts of guilt are not letting me to behave impulsively.

"It means this bed is mine, not yours and only I have the rights to sleep here and if you want, you can take the sofa over there" I said while pointing my finger towards the sofa in my room

She looked at me for a while and suddenly stood up from her sitting position and stood in front of me. For a moment I thought finally she understood a simple command but she proved me how wrong I was.

"Mr.Shekhawat may I ask you a question?" she asked me

I just simply nodded my head

"You said this room, this bed is yours right?" she asked again and again I nodded my head

"So whatever is yours then it has the same power and authority as you regardless of it?" she again asked and I wonder why suddenly she is talking like this but nevertheless I just nod my head agreeing with whatever she says.

"Who does this room belong to?"

"Me"

"Who does this bed belong to?"

"Me"

"Who does this walk-in closet belong to?"

"Me"

I seriously don't understand why she is asking such childish questions and the thing is even I'm answering her is such bullshit.

"Who does this vase belong to?"

"Me"

"Who does this bookshelf belongs to"

"Me"

"Who do I belong to?"

"Me"

That's it I saw a victorious smirk formed on her lips and I realized what I just said. Did I just agree that she belongs to me? Now I got it she asked me all of this because she knows that I'm going to answer 'me' anyways she perfectly trapped me in her mind games, how smart!

"See as you said yourself Mr.Shekhawat I belong to you than I do have the same power,rights and authority as you have with everything, anything so this room is mine equally as much as it yours and same goes to the bed so stop making a fuss over it and let me sleep, good night Mr.Shekhawat" as she said so she went back to her side and laid down

Without realizing a small smile grazed my lips seeing how smart she is and indeed she has the capability as how people describe about her but when I realized what I was doing the small smile grazed my lips fell and my eyes turned dark.

No I shouldn't give any room for any feelings, all this feeling died down seven years back and I realized that I needed to stay away from this woman as much as possible if I don't want the wall I built for years to crumble down even though I know no one can crumble the high walls I built around myself but it's not wrong to be cautious.

I went inside the bathroom and freshened up and got changed. I came out and saw she was fast asleep so I took my pillow and walked towards the sofa and laid down there since she trapped me with my own words. I can't put up a fight with her and I also don't have the energy to do it.

I closed my eyes and sleep quickly engulfed me since I'm too exhausted today.

My deep slumber broke when the sunlight shone straight on my face through the balcony. I blinked my eyes for a second and looked around and saw the time on the wall clock shows 8 in the morning.

Seems like I overslept I guess, I quickly sat up and stretched my body a little before standing up and my gaze fell on the empty bed where she slept yesterday. Seems like she woke up before me I think, I shrugged my shoulders and walked towards my bathroom to get ready for the day.

I was done freshening up and I wore a navy blue tailored two piece suit since I woke up late so I decided to have my breakfast at my office. I hate having breakfast with my family. I either will have breakfast at my room or at my office but not at the dining area.

I came down and surprisingly all of my family members were seated at the dining table and having their breakfast. Usually they will not have breakfast this long and I wonder why today they were here for so long and haven't left for their office.

However, I decided to leave when my eyes locked with her there she was sitting beside Priyanka. I don't know how she joined my siblings group because they will never easily accept an outsider in their group.

Our gaze broke when I heard badee papa calling me out

"Dev come and sit here, paa said there is something important that he wants to talk"

I looked at him before walking towards the dining area. I stopped at the head of the table and that's when I realized that the old man was not here. I and the old man are no longer in talking terms after whatever happened and to be honest I'm ashamed of my behavior towards daadu.

I have an excessive anger issues disorder which I can't control and remembering how I behaved that day not only made me feel ashamed but also guilty but that doesn't mean I will ask for his forgiveness as my ego won't let it happen.

I shrugged off the thoughts when I realized what badee papa said, daadu had something important to say and I wonder what it is since daadu holds everyone at place that means there is something very important he wanted to discuss.

"Look daadu is coming" my thoughts broke when Priyanka said while looking at the entrance

I turned to look at him when I saw a man who looked I guess around thirty, wearing a three piece black suit which literally perfectly fitted his muscular body and with his jet black hair neatly combed back walked in behind daadu.

Daadu came and stopped on the right side of the head of the dining table. Meanwhile I'm on the left side of it. He didn't even spare a glance at me and somewhere it hurts to see him avoiding me but I just shrugged it off.

"I have all of you to seated here is to announce a very important thing" daadu said while looking at everyone with a stern look

"He is Kabir Raichand and starting from today he will be Sathi's personal bodyguard" daadu added and looked at her

All of them looked at daadu surprised except for me and Isha,as I have no problem for him appointing a bodyguard for her as mostly all of us have our own bodyguards as well since knowing our background and the power we hold, there are high chances for our rival to attack us and after whatever yesterday's news I'm sure their new target will be her.

"But papa what is the need for a bodyguard and that too for her?" asked badee maa while giving a dirty look at her

"All of us have our own personal bodyguard and since Sathi is now one of our family member she will have her own personal bodyguard and remember since the news is out, our rival might try to harm her" daadu said as I expected

All of them nodded their heads in understanding but however I wanted to see her reaction and what is going on right now inside her genius brain.

I looked at her but to my dismay she looked completely calm and collected and I seriously wonder if she has any other emotions other than this blank,grumpy and calm face.

Badee maa just snickered but didn't say anything. Daadu looked at everyone and turned to look at the bodyguard whose name we got to know is Kabir.

"Kabir there she is, she is the one you need to protect and also you need to be around her 24/7" daadu said to him while pointing at her

"Don't worry Mr.Shekhawat from now on I will take care of madam is protection" the guy kabir said

I was waiting for her to say something or to argue to daadu as usual saying no she doesn't need a bodyguard or to be around her for 24/7 just like the girls in the Indian serials or in the fictional books which Priyanka loves to read but unfortunately nothing like that happened.

Seems like whatever I perceive is right. I guess she is a money minded woman, she loves the attention which daadu gives her. Such a bitch!

Daadu suddenly looked at me and then turned back to Kabir and said something which literally triggered my anger.

"Kabir listen carefully, more than protecting her from my family rivals. Your main and important duty is to protect her from him no matter what the reason is make sure you will be around her when you see him around her am I clear Kabir?" daadu said while pointing at me

All of them looked at daadu taken aback for a moment except for her. Of course she would be enjoying the humiliation he is giving me right now.

I clenched my jaw trying to stay calm and not to repeat anything reckless as I did that day. Kabir looked at me for a moment from up and down like judging and for a moment I felt like smashing his face but I controlled it.

This old man!

"I'm sorry to ask this but may I know how he is related to ma'am Sir?" Kabir asked while still looking at me

"Oh, I forgot to introduce my family members to you it's okay I will do it now so since you asked who he is let me start from him" Daadu said and looked at me before looking back at Kabir

"He is my arrogant grandson Rudradev and also Sathi's husband and you might wonder what is the need to protect her from her own husband but let me make it clear, he is more dangerous than any enemy out there" Daadu added

I swear this old man loves to get on my nerves!

Kabir looked shocked at the revelation but however he masked it away and nodded his head and the old man continued to introduce the others to him.

Once he was done, he looked at everyone and said in authority

"Remember I had appointed Kabir as Sathi's bodyguard and no one, I mean it no one have the rights to fire him from his position unless it was me or Sathi the one to do it, I hope that I'm clear here"

I gritted my teeth and closed my eyes in irritation. This old man had finally lost his mind I think but I didn't say anything and walked away from there but not before looking at her and surprisingly she was looking at me too but I just shrugged it off and walked away from there.

I'm done with this bullshit, he can do whatever he wants and I don't give a fuck about it.

I didn't go to Shekhawat Inc and went to my cybersecurity company. I have so many branches all over but my main branch is here which is the headquarters.

I walked inside my company and everyone looked at me shocked but they all quickly masked their expressions and bowed down to greet me. I know why they all looked so shocked. It's because I rarely come to the headquarters and mostly will be in Shekhawat Inc.

However, as much as I have responsibilities in Shekhawat Inc as COO, I have more responsibility here as well as the CEO and people working under me.

I reached my cabin and saw my best buddy, Avyan there who was sitting on the couch near the window while smoking.

Hearing the door sound, without looking at me he said sarcastically

"Congratulations new groom, I didn't know you will fall in love again and marry the girl of your choice without telling me"

I understood the sarcasm in his words. Avyan is my closest friend. We have known each other since we were on napkin days. He was with me through my ups and downs and most importantly he was there to witness the darkest day of my life as well.

Avyan had joined my haldi ceremony with Tara but unfortunately he had to leave due to some emergency arise in his company. He knows that I was planning to marry Tara but he has no idea why.

However, at last the old man had to pull a stunt and made me marry her, the dark eyed woman. But now I guess he saw the news I think and understood that I didn't marry Tara but someone else and that too that someone else I married is my love—

I shook my head before taking off my coat and throwing it away on the chair. I walked towards him and sat next to him.

"It's nothing like that Avyan you know me well and whatever the news had displayed is nothing but fake" I said while leaning my head back and closing my eyes

"So you are telling whatever the news said is fake then do mind explaining what is this?" Avyan asked and threw something at me

I opened my eyes and looked at what it was. It was a brown cover and I wondered what was inside it. I took the cover and opened it. There were a few pictures of me and her.

Some pictures were taken from the office where we both were in the office lobby waiting for the elevator and some pictures of us together entering the Shekhawat mansion but what caught my eyes were the picture of me and her in the night club where I abandoned her.

Seems like someone is stalking us and how I am not aware of this shit. Whoever it is, I have to find him before he tries to do something. I was thinking this when I heard Avyan snapping his finger in front of my face and I realized that I just zoned out.

I looked at him and asked

"Avyan, how did you get these pictures? Who gave them to you?"

Avyan looked at me blankly but before he could say anything we heard a voice behind me

"It's me Mr.Shekhawat, your one and only best bodyguard" came a thick italian accent voice from behind

We turned to look at the intruder to find Klaus, my bodyguard. Klaus is an Italian guy who is 6 '5 tall and muscular by physics. I saw Klaus in one of my business events where I went to Italy for a business deal and there I saw him, he was working there as a bouncer and eventually we had conversations and I learnt that he is working there for so long but his income is low and he is planning to quit his job.

So I decided to give him a job and paid him well and he agreed too. In time we become a close friend but still he has the respect and boundaries set that he will never cross. I had to leave him in the US before coming here to India as it was a sudden marriage deal and sudden arrival.

But it seems like he found where I was and came here. I gave him a stern look before asking

"Who gave you the right to stalk me and capture pictures like this?"

Klaus raised both his hands up like surrendering and said nervously

"Boss it wasn't me but him he bribed me to stalk you and find what you are doing behind his back"

I looked at Avyan shocked, I didn't expect Avyan would bribe my own man to stalk me. Unbelievable

However, Avyan looked super calm and he looked me and said

"What? Don't look at me like that you always do something reckless and then will regret it afterwards so I was just looking out for you"

I understood his concern but still I hated it. I felt like he invaded my privacy.

"I understand that you're looking out for me but that doesn't give you the rights to invade my privacy space" I said looking at him seriously

"Fine, I'm sorry I won't do that again" Avyan said

I turn to look at Klaus who still had his hands raising up in the air and gave him stern look and warned him

"And you this better be the last time or else you will have no hands to capture this kind of pictures"

Klaus put his hand down and nodded his head like a child. I shook my head before standing up from my position and walked towards my seat. I took a seat and saw Avyan and Klaus looking at me with a look says 'mind explaining'

To be honest I hate explaining myself to anyone but with these two I'm sure I can't lie as these two are too smart for their own good and will easily catch my lies so I have decided to tell them the truth.

I narrated the entire story to them from where I first met her to how I left her in the night club for my revenge until now. Once I was done both of them looked super quiet. No one said anything until Avyan burst into anger and marched toward my table and slammed his fist on it.

"WHAT THE HELL DEV!! ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND YOU DRUGGED YOUR OWN WIFE AND LEFT HER IN A NIGHT CLUB FOR RANDOM MEN TO HAVE THEIR WAYS WITH HER"

I looked at Avyan calmly. I know Avyan is a person who follows moral values and ethics. He is a person of right and wrong. He will never compromise to injustice no matter who they are. So seeing him behave like this is normal but what I didn't expect is Klaus who was literally burning me with his gaze.

Klaus was with me for four years and in these four years I had so many one night stands and left women just like that and he never said anything for that even though he isn't aware of my past but him behaving like this is super unusual of him.

"You literally disgusted me Dev, I understood you hate her but that doesn't give you any rights to play with a girl's dignity, imagine if something bad happened to her that day if not her ex-boss came and safe her" Avyan said and shook his head in disappointment

"Look Avyan you don't know anything about her she isn't what you think she is, she is a gold digger she wants daadu’s money that is why she is putting up all this act" I said

She didn't act innocently or bubbly but she always had this stoic look on her and with her straight forwardness she easily captured everyone's attention and heart. That is the reason that the old man supported her like this since he is very fond of people who speaks truthfully.

Avyan shook his head and took a deep breath before saying

"Dev I know whatever had happened in your past had shaped your present like this but that doesn't mean everyone is fake and whatever you had said only one thing I can tell you Dev it's seems like you have huge misunderstandings about your wife and I strongly believe if daadu is supporting her than she is definitely the right one for you, all I can say is try to look for the truth Dev rather making a false assumptions"

He said this and walked out leaving Klaus and I. I looked at Klaus and asked sarcastically

"You don't have anything to advise me?"

Klaus shook his head before saying

"Nothing boss whatever I had to say, Avyan Sir had already did and the decision is in your hand to made"

"Leave" this all I could manage to say after the confrontation with Avyan

Klaus left after I asked him to leave. I leaned on my chair and started to think somewhere whatever Avyan said had made sense, if that old man is supporting her blindly then definitely there is more to the story and I have to find out.

So I quickly took my phone and dialed my PA number and he took the call within two rings.

"Vihaan do a background check on Sathi and I need all information about her on my table by tomorrow" saying so I cut the call before hearing his reply

Maybe it's time to unravel some truth I think.
